Tie scraps

This is an example of some of the left over after making about 100 Zip Ties. Since the material is expensive, I've been working on using it as efficiently as possible. I donate the larger scraps to the Depot for Creative Reuse in Oakland. They refer to me as the 'felt guy.'

    1. Yeah I agree... if we make thousands of ties I'll have to think about that.

  2. Nice work! Just ordered one with my rent money. Now I just might wear a tie (yours) to those important meetings... Am a young architect starving making buildings. You're onto something with this and I expect your path will be a little softer (feltier even) than the rocky road up in architecture. Best luck,

    1. Thanks for ordering the tie John! I used to work as an architect too... my path now isn't easy by any means, but it's not as hard as architecture. Nothing is as hard as architecture :)
