Bowl: snaps instead of seams

In between trip up to the top of the scaffolding I was thinking back to the bowl/hat project. If I secure the shape with snaps (or some other fastener) rather than seams it lead to a lot of possibilities. Here there are 16 clips serving as fasteners.

Unfasten half the clips and the form spreads out.

Skip every other fastener and the form closes.

Some fasteners left open.

All the way open. By the way, the holes in the felt are left over from when I tried a drawstring.
