The body of the lamp is made from 100% recycled PET non-woven material. I've been thinking of making a lamp from this material for a while but didn't realize the light quality would be so nice.
Shade material is laser cut and then sewn together. Very strong and flexible. I can make a lot of different forms with this basic system... stay tuned.
Fins are slotted to capture acrylic disks which hold the socket and keep the shade away from the bulb.
