How to cut the cork? That is the question. Obviously it would cut very easily on a band saw or table saw, but the block is too big for the machines I have access to.

So I bought a used hand saw for $5 and gave it a try. Definitely not easy going, but then again I need the workout.

As you can see I didn't get very far... might take me an hour to get through the whole block. Will have to plan carefully.
