Expanded Felt: “I work with structure.”

Josh’s inspiration comes from the structure inherent to the materials he uses and how he can manipulate it– most recently in felt. In this particular experiment, he cut a series of slices into a piece of felt. In seeing how this flat object can be transformed into a 3D form, he is reconsidering how this expanded material could be used in a finished object.
