The Potential of Paper Forms

Today Josh experimented with paper forms, the shapes more angular than usual. Turning flat forms into abstract shapes without the sense of scale allows Josh to imagine them as a variety of items: a messenger bag, a couch cushion, or even a structure big enough to hold a person. The next step for him is to cut these shapes from felt and sew them, only then getting an idea of what they might become.
