Look at the tie at left with a square end and angle template. The end has to be cut last because it's too hard to sew the zipper in the exact same place every time. Better to allow some wiggle room on the zipper sewing and finish the end perfectly.

Look at the tie at left with a square end and angle template. The end has to be cut last because it's too hard to sew the zipper in the exact same place every time. Better to allow some wiggle room on the zipper sewing and finish the end perfectly.
i like the ends squared.... remember the 60s? love your work, btw. keep it coming.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I will definitely do different felt colors after I test market the ties this winter. And the zipper I am using is the smallest I can get in a continuous loop (from my favorite zipper company anyway).
