Zip Tie sneak peak

Here's something I've been working on in my spare time: it's a strip of felt with a zipper attached.
 Zipped.
It's a zip-tie! (Yes I know this one is too short.)

I'm pretty excited about it because I will finally be able to wear one of my designs! Still waiting for the fancy zippers and felt to arrive so I can make a final sample.

    It seems the look should be advertised as two-sided, so you can either show off the zipper, or zip it up on the backside where it is hidden and slightly more material is used to make the zipper hide under a flat flap. Just some feedback - love the concept! These in multiple colors would be great.

      Thanks for the suggestion Jason. Actually I leave the wide zipper tape and stitching exposed on the backside, so there is even more zipper visible. And if I hid that tape with another layer of felt it would double the production cost of the tie. I thought about that but decided the extra cost wasn't worth it. Will definitely do multiple colors though, probably early next year!
