I'm so thrilled about this, and just ordered one. I love that it's unusual, of course, but I've also been wanting a solid-colored light blue tie that... well, that wasn't a cheap piece of junk. Well done.
Love your unusual take on a traditional piece of men's wear. Have your thought about using a paisley or other pattern with the zipper hidden? I realize that's two new features and that felt doesn't usually come in patterns, but since many men's ties are patterned, it might be something to think about. Also if the zipper were more hidden, it might appeal to more men.
Hi Nellie, thanks for liking the tie! Regarding your suggestions, yes those things would probably make the tie more acceptable. But my goal is to challenges conventions rather than follow them. And I have found that when I follow my creative instincts the product actually gets more attention and sells better!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Peter! I hope you get a lot of use out of the tie!
